Adapted Progams

Adapted Programs empower people with physical or cognitive disabilities to take advantage of all the recreational opportunities at Three Rivers Park District. Specialized equipment and support personnel help ensure that people of all abilities have access to and can participate in outdoor recreation.

Water Recreation Access for All

The Water Recreation Access for All initiative expands access to some of our region’s most loved lakes and beaches, ensuring people of all abilities can safely and comfortably enjoy being on and near the water.

Pathways Internships

Pathways Internships provide youth and young adults, particularly those facing barriers to employment, hands-on experiences to explore a career in parks and recreation. Interns develop job skills while teaching others about nature during this summer internship at Three Rivers District.

Three Rivers Park District Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As the philanthropic partner to Three Rivers Park District, we provide important financial support for programs, initiatives and projects offered by the Park District, beyond existing funding.
